Semanty ("the App") is developed and operated by Snow River Studio, an independent development studio. We are committed to respecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your data.

02. Information We Collect

• Account Data: We collect your email address to enable login functionality and to synchronize your account data across devices. Your password is securely hashed (encrypted) before it reaches our database; we never store your actual password.
• Usage Data: We collect minimal usage analytics to monitor application stability and identify crashes. This data helps us improve the app's performance.
• Contextual Dictionary Data: To provide dictionary definitions, your search queries are processed by our system. However, these queries are not permanently stored in association with your identity for the purposes of user profiling or tracking.

03. Subscriptions & Payments

Subscriptions and payments are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Snow River Studio does not access, process, or store your credit card or banking information. We only receive a digital receipt from Apple to verify the status of your subscription.

04. Data Storage & Security

Your account information is stored in a secure Postgres database. We adhere to industry-standard data protection practices, including encryption in transit and secure hashing algorithms for sensitive credentials.

05. Third-Party Services

We utilize the following third-party services to deliver functionality:

• Apple: Used for authentication (Sign in with Apple) and payment processing.

06. Your Rights

You retain full ownership of your data. You may request to delete your account at any time. Account deletion can be initiated directly within the App's settings or by contacting support. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed from our systems.
